School Nurse - new GEMS School, Al Waha, Sustainable City, Dubai

About the Role

We are hiring a Nurse for our brand-new UK curriculum school in Dubai for
September ‎2023. The School will be located in Al Waha, Dubai, very close to
Sustainable City as well as many other attractive, expat Communities along the
Al Qudra Road area. It will follow an established GEMS brand, with unique
features at a great fee point.

All teaching and leadership staff will be UK-qualified and experienced
international school teachers and leaders. The school will open for learners
from FS1 to Year ‎8 in the founding year, growing subsequently each year to
offer a through school curriculum within six years from its opening.*
Responsibilities (will include but will not be limited to):
* Ensure that students and parents adhere to, and are well informed of immunization programs as per Ministry of Health guidelines.
* Be available to students and staff to address their immediate medical needs, providing a source of medical advice.
* Maintain comprehensive medical records of all students as regulated by the Ministry of Health.
* Establish procedures for providing first aid in cases of accidents or illness on the school campus or during school functions.
* Refer accidents or illness appropriately to the school doctor or hospitals, and inform parents and the school Principal
* Be present for all student related activities on campus.
* Keep up to date with current medical practices and regulations, as prescribed by Governmental authorities.
The ideal candidate:
* will have a Nursing degree from a reputable University
* will have a valid DHA license as 'Registered Nurse'
* will have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.

* Principal/CEO of the School
* Representations from SSC functional teams

collaboration with the shortlisted employees' current Principal/CEO and/or
Department heads on the actual release dates (from their current position of
responsibilities).
