Store Officer - new GEMS School, Al Waha, Sustainable City, Dubai

About the Role

We are delighted to announce the opening of a brand-new UK curriculum school
in Dubai for September ‎2023. The School will be located in Al Waha, Dubai,
very close to Sustainable City as well as many other attractive, expat
Communities along the Al Qudra Road area. It will follow an established GEMS
brand, with unique features at a great fee point.

All teaching and leadership staff will be UK-qualified and experienced
international school teachers and leaders. The school will open for learners
from FS1 to Year ‎8 in the founding year, growing subsequently each year to
offer a through school curriculum within six years from its opening.
We are looking for a Store Officer to manage consumable and non-consumable
resources within the school; catalogue all inventoried stock; and
electronically capture the checking-out of items to students and staff.
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
* A Bachelor's degree (Library or stock control knowledge is an advantage).
* Knowledge of MS Excel and other database systems.
* Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to work under pressure.
* Good English language skills including reading, writing, speaking.
* Good public relations skills and telephone manner
* Ability to multi task.
* A minimum of ‎1 years' experience in a similar position.

* Manager School Operations and/ or the Principal/CEO of the School

Department heads on the actual release dates (from their current position of
responsibilities).
