Job Purpose:
Compliance Department needs to submit information regularly to the senior
management, regulators, law enforcement, auditors and other teams within the
bank. This information should be submitted within an agreed timeframe and
should be accurate and complete. The role will cover the following activities:
* Timely, accurate and complete reporting to the senior management, regulators, law enforcement and auditors
* Preparing and delivering Compliance metric packs
* Supporting data requests for Central Bank audits
* Inform, request and collate data from multiple teams across multiple jurisdictions
* Providing MIS to compliance team
* Streamlining the process for compliance metric packs
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Monthly Reporting: KRI
* Monthly Reporting: RBS Baseline Survey
* Monthly Reporting: Iran reporting
* Quarterly reporting: Risk Appetite Statement
* Half Yearly Reporting: MLRO Report
* Accurate and complete reporting to the regulators
* Inform, request and collate data from multiple teams across multiple jurisdictions
* Providing appropriate data as per the MIS requirement
* Providing data within the required timeframe
* Provide data as requested in the Central Bank audits by the regulators.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
* At least 5 years of experience with Business Intelligence Reporting tools such as Cognos, Power BI and Qlikview.
* At least 5 years of experience in preparing MIS.
* At least 5 years of data analysis experience.
* At least 5 years of relevant experience in large banking/financial institutions.
* At least 1 year of experience with SAS Enterprise Guide.
* Graduate degree
* Compliance certification: ACAMS or ICA diploma
* Certification for Power BI, Qlikview, Tableau, Cognos
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong knowledge of latest reporting and dashboard solutions
* Strong knowledge of data analysis, presentation and reporting
* Basic knowledge of Banking products and operations.
* Basic knowledge of compliance systems
* Understanding of compliance, products and processes
* Strong in Business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Cognos and Qlikview
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft excel along with macros
* Advanced Power Point skills
* Data mining and analytical skills
* Understanding of banking products and processes.
* Understanding of data mapping and lineage.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Decision making skills.
* Stakeholder management skills.
* Should be pragmatic, Innovative and quick learner.
* Team player and ability to work in multi-cultural environment.
* Ability to present ideas and achieve consensus.
* Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
