Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic marketer with a passion
for event planning who has the organisational and interpersonal skills to
ensure all moving parts come together perfectly to produce engaging and well-
planned events and to promote the school to potential and existing families
through a range of school and company generated marketing initiatives.
An experienced professional with a love for event management, your role will
be key to the successful execution of a varied and busy events programme. An
excellent communicator, you will be a multi-tasker with a keen eye for detail
and the confidence to build relationships with internal and external
stakeholders. Event coordination will include the sending of invites and
promotional material, booking facilities, catering, cleaning, IT support,
porterage, entertainment etc. The ideal candidate will be able to work to
deadline and troubleshoot any emerging problems while providing outstanding
customer service.
This is a new and varied role for a motivated and team player who is detail-
oriented and can operate independently as well as part of a team which is
committed to keeping the school at the centre of an enthusiastic and
supportive community of pupils, parents and the wider community. A key focus
for the role is to help attract new pupils, retain existing ones, and keep in
touch with the wider community.

Key Duties and Areas of Responsibility*
School Events
* Organise & promote school open days, school tours and school events for prospective parents and visitors
* Organise & promote parent open forums and information sessions in collaboration with the SLT and faculty staff
* Organise and attend external events, exhibitions and fairs to promote the school along with the School Admissions team
* Organise key school events and provide hands on support
* Work alongside the ISP Marketing Team to organise promotional gifts and collateral
*Digital Communications**
* Act as the school 's social media expert and work with ISP and School Admissions Manager to set the social media strategy and targets
* Identify stories from within the school and create content to promote across the range of media
* Create engaging content (text, image and video) to be posted on Social Media platforms in order to promote school stories, promises and narratives
* Develop an optimal posting calendar, considering marketing strategy, web traffic and customer engagement metrics
* Work on Website, Analytics and SEO to coordinate on content, measurement and reporting strategies
* Identify influencers and work with them to increase engagement with our parents across social media
* Undertake a systematic review of the school website, social media pages and landing pages
* Monitor and measure the results of communications and social media activities and report on progress
* Take a proactive approach in identifying ways to improve the school site and landing pages
School Communications & Brand Management*
* In conjunction with the leadership of the school design, deliver, update and maintain a regular comprehensive virtual school newsletter for prospective families and the wider community
* Maintain stocks of school marketing collateral and order accordingly
* Maintain a comprehensive high res image library
* Assist ISP Marketing Team in sourcing photographs and design for marketing collateral
* Work with staff to ensure that branding is used correctly and consistently in accordance with the ISP and school branding guidelines
* Explore opportunities to improve media coverage
*Community and Business Relations in collaboration with the Head of
Admissions:*
* To source opportunities for partnerships in the local community with corporates and nurseries
* Foster and maintain strong relationships with families
* Engage with the Friends of the Aquila School
* Identify new ways to attract prospective customers e.g. promotions and competitions
*Market Research*
* Assist in competitor analysis
* Undertake regular reviews of online school directories

* Maintain good work relationships with admissions team, displaying flexibility and collaborative spirit
* Work alongside school admissions to maintain strong relationships with families
* In collaboration with admissions team report to the ISP Regional Office on school marketing activities

In addition, all staff are required to carry out any tasks required by the
school or the regional office to facilitate the smooth day to day running of
the school
To be line managed by the school head of admissions and the local ISP head of
admissions
Hours of work- Ideally we would prefer a candidate who is able to work Sunday
to Thursday - Sunday 9.00 - 3.00 and 8-4.15 Monday to Thursday. Sometimes work
on Friday/Saturday and evenings is required to market the school (time off in
lieu provided for the second and each subsequent event per term)
Holidays - 30 days per year
