Job Summary:
Liaising with data suppliers to provide instructions and cost estimates for
increasing contacts databases with marketing relevant contacts. Importing,
cleaning, transforming, validating, behavioral analysis, and modeling data to
understand or make conclusions from the data for decision-making purposes. An
analyst capable of the entire process from creating and querying the database
using SQL, validating the data using Excel, and finally converting it into
easily understandable graphs and tables that can be presented to non-technical
people.
Job Description:
Data Research, Analysis, and Reporting:
* Build and maintain a strong relationship with data research suppliers. Provide understandable project briefs for the suppliers to lay out estimates and costs.
* Understanding customer's requirement and providing easy/quick analytics solutions strategically.
* Extract large and unstructured datasets from multiple platforms. Cleansing, manipulating, and transforming the data to perform statistical analysis and visualizing insights for the business.
* Presenting analysis and translate data into an easy understandable document for business.
* Drawing insights, translating data into strategy, and feeding into the right teams.
Database Administration:
* Conceptualizing different aspects/features of the CRM & SQL Database to cater to projects like data selections request, Data uploads of 3rd party data, Data integrity.
* Deduplication : Working through various mechanisms to eliminate duplication within existing data and/or for new data upload.
* Data Selection : Selection and exporting each marketing segment that currently exists within our databases.
* Data formatting and uploading: To remove any quality errors, typos, and mapping fields in order to update or upload new data from various sources in Salesforce.
* Data integrity : Clean and update data all the time to maintain data integrity in the system, this may include updating contact information, inactive contacts, mail returns etc.
Data automation:
* Write procedures (SQL and Salesforce) to reduce the time for repeat requests.
* Develop efficient workflow and work processes.
* Whenever required, writing queries, triggers, stored procedures, views etc.
Job Context:
Define organizational policy and other factors that have a critical impact on
the job. Liaise with Database, Marketing, IT and Web team to ensure data
automation, integrity, and quality.
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
SQL Manager Server - Must have experience in writing queries and understanding
of SQL
Microsoft Excel - Must have advance level of understanding to manipulate
Pivots and Graphs
Degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Programming
Minimum Experience:
Highly numerate, precise, and meticulous when working with data. Minimum ‎3
years' experience of dealing with big data.
Job-Specific Skills:
Database/Programming: SQL Server, Stored Procedures
Office: MS Excel (advance level)
CRM: Salesforce admin level skills (Desirable)
Communication skills : Being a public speaker with great interpersonal
skills, Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay
terms
Other Skills: Ability to analyze trends, identify problems and deliver
corrective actions, Experience of managing a high volume of transactions.
Knowledge and working experience of complex data extraction, transformation,
and data loading techniques
