Job description

• The primary focus of the role on retrofitting and renovation of old buildings. Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to relay important information


• Reviewing and responding to all clarifications, materials and drawings submittals delivered by the contractor in compliance with specifications and project requirements to ensure the quality of works in accordance with the time frames and milestones


• Review of architectural materials in compliance with approved material submittals, finishing inspection, drawings, RFI's and all architectural correspondences


• Monitoring the material deliveries to site to ensure the quality and compliance with approved material.


• Ensure works installed are in compliance with the approved drawings and specifications


• Coordinating site installation issues and referring them to the design-build contractors to resolve


• Providing oversight and confirming acceptable solutions are implemented correctly


• Highlighting any violations to architectural related issues on site • Verifying completion of architectural works


• Reviewing and approving Architectural and engineering plans.


• Researching and maintaining knowledge of various engineering disciplines, application methods, and materials.


• Monitoring the work of the Contractor and making recommendations or scheduling workshops as required.


• Providing guidance to Contractor like builders, plumbers, and electricians, and helping them interpret design specifications.


• Liaising with client to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and that project requirements are met.


• Ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets.

Profile

• Bachelors. Architecture / Masters in Architecture


• Strong knowledge in Renovation


• Combined design and design management experience, including knowledge of plans and specifications for building projects


• Experience of developing successful relationships at a senior level • Strong written and oral English communication.


• Excellent inter-personal skills and working knowledge of PC software packages


• Good understanding of business critical scenarios in terms of site management and safety
