The location is flexible, but you will be connected to an agile development
team in applying modern technologies in the next generation MyDrive software
tools and digital products to support the Danfoss Drives business throughout
the lifecycle of the drive.

Job Responsibilities

If you take the challenges as our Software Architect, you will take part in
the company digital journey to provide outstanding user experience to drive
customers offered by seamlessly integrated toolchain.
The development will be in close collaboration with others, executed by
internal and external teams globally.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Oversee architecture used for the development of software tools for various purposes that includes, user interface, business logic, data communication, cloud infrastructure, etc. within your team and in collaboration with other closely aligned teams.


• Promote a platform-based approach that allows for efficient software development by emphasizing reuse of common assets, user interface design guides, technologies and development practices.


• Define architectural capabilities to ensure development work aligns with the Danfoss business. Collaborate and coordinate product specification across the different architectural groups responsible for the drive development


• Evaluate product development results from the teams to maintain a strong focus on high quality, security, modifiability, extensibility and ensure design and documentation is carried out according to company requirements and best practice


• Contribute as an expert to design, develop, and release of cross platform software. Share your expertise throughout the product development lifecycle, as the team is fully responsible for product development and delivery


• Provide inputs to the product technology roadmap and work in close corporation with universities globally on new technologies and trends to support the company journey towards more intelligent products creating a sustainable future for our planet

Background & Skills

You hold a Master or bachelor's degree in computer science, Mechatronics or
similar (Software Engineering, Control & Automation, Communication
Technology), combined with at least ‎2-‎5 years' experience, preferably proven
as a Software Architect or Lead Developer within agile software development
teams. Furthermore, you have:

• Experience with development of hybrid desktop/mobile applications using Ionic/Angular/TypeScript together with Capacitor/Electron and related Web technologies plus back-end solutions in MS Azure cloud, such as REST APIs and Functions


• Ability to communicate architecture requirements through appropriate design diagrams and technical descriptions


• Highly skilled with investigating and identifying complex technical issues with software applications


• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are a prerequisite


• A strong team spirit together with a readiness to challenge your colleagues in the interests of achieving high-quality results

Although this job does not require regular travel, we expect you to be willing
to travel if it is required.
