HSSE & BR Operations Manager

HSSE & BR Operations Manager to assist and advice Maersk Sr. HSSE & BR
managers, managers and staff by providing Health, Safety, Security,
Environmental & BR advices when required, to enable them to undertake their
health, safety, Security and environmental & BR responsibilities at all sites.
The incumbent will develop and deliver HSSE & BR trainings based on a best
practice model. He will assist Area HSSE & BR Manager in establishing and
implementing HSSE & BR Systems. He will Audit all sites against both standards
(Maersk & local standards which is higher).
Accountabilities
* Ensure the implementation of the HSSE & BR policies and HSSE & BR management systems requirements at all MAERSK sites.
* Supports all Warehouse/depots' HSSE & BR staff in implementing the HSSE & BR policies requirements at MAERSK Sites.
* Provides Warehouse/depots guidance and support on the requirements of the HSSE & BR & BR Policy, Framework and Standards.
* Provides advice and assistance to Senior Managers, Managers and staff that will enable them to discharge their responsibilities under the HSSE & BR Policy.
* Provides advice and support to risk assessment activities and the setting of risk control standards. Where required carry out risk assessments and, carry out periodical reviews of the risk assessment controls and their effectiveness in operation to ensure any residual risks arising from the controls are suitably managed in operation.
* Audits the HSSE & BR arrangements and application across the company.
* Monitors HSSE & BR performance in MAERSK Warehouse/depots and the implementation of the HSSE & BR Policy, Standards and Procedures.
* Provides practical interpretation of legal requirements applying to HSSE & BR matters to managers and staff.
* Provides advice and assistance to all staff that will enable them to discharge their responsibilities under the HSSE & BR (Safety, Health, and Environment) Policies.
* Coordinates all HSSE & BR activities across MAERSK and liaise with relevant host country external regulatory and other authorities on behalf of the Warehouse/depots.
* Reports where required, on investigation of lost time accidents, dangerous occurrences, fires, pollution, security issues and environmental incidents.
* Responsible for developing and maintaining HSSE & BR training records of all MAERSK operation's staff and create a HSSE & BR & BR training identifying HSSE & BR & BR competency requirement and current standard for each Warehouse/depots.
* Verify and approve all HSSE & BR invoices.
* Support Expansion Team in all HSSE & BR requirements for the new projects.
* Admin of HSSE & BR Software.
