Warehouse & Logistics Champion

Role is based on Riyadh and will be responsible for Mars stock management and
co-packing operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency in logistics services
delivery with optimum cost and quality through managing all relevant 3PLs
operations and performance. He will also be responsible for relevant
conversion cost management and delivering savings through driving value
leadership program across logistics operations while ensuring full compliance
with Mars global standards and local regulations. He will also be key in
delivering logistics network optimization, ensuring updated processes/SOPs are
in place and leading the delivery of system improvement as a key user. In
addition, the associate will be responsible for KSA RTM design from supply
chain standpoint including the following: Future process design, Standard
Operating procedures, define KPIs, 3PLs performance management framework. The
role require collaboration with cross functional team to drive efficiencies
and balance cost. The job holder will work closely with supply chain
functions, Sales, and finance and Service providers
Key Responsibilities
Warehousing & Co-packing Management
‎1. Logistics network optimization
‎2. Stock accuracy, reconciliation, Full physical and cycle counts to ensure
stock accuracy targets
are maintained
‎3. Warehouse 3PL management for inbound, warehousing & outbound including
contracts,
SLA and performance management
‎4. Manage co-packing operations
‎5. Responsible for meeting Mars internal/external audit requirements &
actions for
stock management
‎6. Ensure compliance with Mars Global standards for warehousing and
transportation
‎7. Ensure compliance with local government authorities
‎8. Manage warehouse and QMP audits to ensure compliance
‎9. Warehouse Capacity management and optimization short and long term
‎10. Warehouse resources management and optimization in assigned regions
‎11. Destruction management and reporting
‎12. Manage order picking and loading for customers
S&OP
* Input to SMR (Conversion, 3PL performance, warehouse and transportation KPIs,
escalations… etc.)

Systems & Processes
‎1. Key user for WMS & Supply Chain Outbound
‎2. Lead testing and delivery of all system CIPs and projects
‎3. Own SOPs for warehousing, inbound and outbound including continuous
improvement
‎4. Drive efficiency through system and processes CIPs
Conversion & Value Leadership
‎1. Budget management for warehousing and transportation in owned regions
‎2. Validate actual spend and provide periodic year end estimates
‎3. Drive value leadership initiatives across warehousing and transportation
Context and Scope
This role is part of KSA CCL team reporting into Warehouse & Logistics Manager
and will play a key role first year in designing the RTM and how supply chain
operations will transform. After the transition phase, this role will be key
in managing warehouse operations and total Mars KSA inventory (Mars &
Distributor) which is one of the key changes in the new RTM.
Job Specifications/Qualifications
Education & Professional Qualifications • Bachelor degree in business,
Industrial Engineering or supply chain
* ‎3-‎5 years within a supply chain or related field work experience (preferably in FMCG). Warehousing experience is required.
* Systems knowledge is a must as the associate will manage one if not more systems e.g. Excel, SAP, Oracle, WMS… etc.
* Certification in Supply Chain management (CPIM, CLTD)
Knowledge / Experience •
. Minimum of ‎3- ‎5 years experience in supply chain (warehousing, logistics and
outbound operations)
* Transportation management (inbound and outbound)
* Reverse Logistics

* Excellent communication skills with good knowledge of written and spoken English
* Negotiation skills and customer service management
