projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, arguably one of the largest projects
in the world.
Based at NEOM Site, KSA we have an exciting opportunity for a Surveyor. As a
Surveyor you will provide support for package management teams on THE LINE
including verification of contractor layouts and land use monuments.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Monitor and coordinate best practice for Health and Safety at site for Piling enabling and lifting operations
* Provide surveying support for design reviews.
* Maintain awareness of the financial status of the projects, maintain awareness of the program and report on issues which affects the contract duration.
* Direct the overall planning of construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities.
* Determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.
* Ensures that the services of subcontractors and major construction equipment required by the project will be available at the appropriate time to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
* Establish assignments for Construction Superintendents for various work areas of construction operations, monitoring progress and recommending corrective action as necessary.
* Manage the assignment of manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules, and to meet budget goals. Keeps alert to possible problem areas and takes preventative action to ensure that critical milestones are met for each phase of the project.
* Ensure the use of sound construction practices to attain required quality control at the maximum efficiency and minimum cost.
* Prepare periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for higher-level management and clients.
* Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Here 's What You'll Need:
* Experienced working on construction projects using surveying equipment and software
* Experienced with specific types of surveys (e.g., land surveys, construction surveys, topographic surveys)
* Bachelor of science degree in engineering or related
* ‎5 years direct experience in surveying
* Familiar with Data collection and analysis
* Familiar with Map and drawing creation
* Be familiar with the following Land surveying principles and practices
* Construction methods and materials
* Surveying equipment and software
* Knowledge of CAD, GIS, and GPS systems including Civil 3D
