Local Unit & Position Description:
Due to growth of the business, DNV Maritime Area Middle East & Africa is
looking for a candidate, a Saudi national, with approximately 3-5 years'
experience from the offshore or marine industry to join our team of surveyors
in Al Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
As a DNV Surveyor , you will mainly be carrying out surveys onboard mobile
offshore units as well as ship in operation at shipyards and offshore
locations.
Travel and offshore work should be expected as well as attending vessels in
Bahrain.
The position offers the candidate a unique opportunity to join a rapidly
growing team in a transforming country with numerous exciting opportunities
both within the conventional offshore business and in ocean space projects,
including renewables and offshore tourism.
The position reports to the District Manager.
Position Qualifications:
* Approximately 3-5 years of offshore and/or marine industry experiece
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering from a Technical University
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Self-driven and highly engaged professional
* Quick learner and data smart
* Open-minded and curious
