Delivery Director

Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Delivery Director to join our
team! In this role you will lead the delivery with the Program Management
Consultant (PMC) tasks in the leadership of the PMC team. This role will
directly report to the Program Director and provide management and direction
for departments or a major section of Works within a significant Program.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Acts as the PMCM representative with the Client and Contractors during the program execution.
* Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
* Collaborates with Client Development / Projects team to ensure quality and timely deliverables on multiple major projects.
* Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
* Participates in management and leadership meetings in support of Client.
* Oversees Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other scope deliverables as required on the Program.
* Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
* Works with all departments within PMCM to plan, direct, supervise, and controls the execution of all technical, and administrative functions of the assigned projects.
* Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key team members after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.
* Provides input to performance reviews and development plans for team members.
* Mobilizes company resources, through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work
* Works with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project
* Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans
* Works with the key project individual to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work and responsible for maintaining current and timely change orders
* Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule
* Establishes weekly meeting to review project status and formulate action items
* Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in construction related field with ‎25+ years of widely diversified experience , including supervisory/managerial experience.
* Arabic and English Language
* PMC Experience in the GCC region with a global PMC Consultancy
* Significant managerial experience of a large group of Engineers, Project / Construction Managers, Designers, and technical support personnel
* Proven and demonstrated ability to drive close out on Projects under their responsibility
* Demonstrated experience on closing out major Works / Projects on time and budget
* Proven ability for managing a large group of engineering/technical personnel.
* Directing work involving complex technical situations
* Excellent written and oral communications skills
* Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
* Requires widely diversified knowledge of constructionrelated processes and industry practices
* Demonstrated effective managerial capability on construction projects of comparable scope and complexity is also required, as well as excellent written and oral communications skills (particularly in formal presentations to clients and upper management.
