Primary Team Leader

What this position is about - Purpose:

To ensure planned production volumes of Shisha are manufactured on time to
supply market requirements, fully in line with product specifications, quality
standards, and cost estimates. Plans direct, and controls all primary
processes to achieve KPI improvement targets across GSC priority areas of
SERVICE - AGILITY - INVESTMENT - PEOPLE - CORE COMPETENCIES. Overall
responsibility for departmental headcount and working patterns, budgetary
planning, and execution. and ensuring staff are appropriately skilled to
maintain safety and security. Ensure a working atmosphere in accordance with
the legal requirements and JTI Code of Conduct.

What will you do - Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with line and primary teams and ensure compliance to all standards and maintain effective production Daily Management System (CILT, Tagging,….etc.). Ensure equipment and work floor is clean, safe, and well-maintained. Monitoring machinery to ensure accurate and precise operation and performing minor technical corrections


• Develop, analyze and enhance manufacturing methods to assist production requirements. Prepare work instructions, OPLs, and SOP. Provide proper training to staff on their job duties.


• Analyze staffing requirements and ensure efficient compliance to production schedules and budgets for all production processes. Prepare vacation schedule for all employees and ensure no effect on production. Manage proper staffing levels daily by checking sick leaves, forecasted employee vacations, and unanticipated absences. Ensure all team members adhered to safety protocols and wear the appropriate PPE.


• Responsible to ensure proper 5S3R of all areas within primary through the implementation of sustainable programs. Apply all applicable JTI process improvement programs IWS, LCO, MOC, kaizen, tagging …etc.


• Contribute to achieving the factory KPIs, support continual improvement for EHS, Energy & Quality management systems and ensure compliance with code of conduct, legal & other requirements.

Whom are we looking for - Requirements:

• Technical/Engineering degree or higher education in business-related studies.


• Detailed knowledge and experience of general management and production technologies, process improvement, data analysis, quality standards, safety management and cost / budgetary control, leadership & motivation skills.


• Arabic and Business English language for effective verbal and written communication, PC, and Microsoft Office applications are mandatory.


• Leading process, Maintenance, IWS, Quality, Time management, and the ability to identify and resolve mechanical challenges that lead to production errors.


• Supervise manufacturing lines and advise employees according to company best practices.
