About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Executive - Accounts Payable to join Finance
department in Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa Kuwait. To control and
monitor accounts payable and ensure validity and accuracy of all invoices,
their appropriate allocation and timely payments and to ensure correct revenue
cycle areas of accounting.
* Assist in supervising and controlling Account Payable section
* Initiates bank transfer payments (overseas suppliers)
* Post all direct i.e. commission payments, expense claims, contracted invoices, utility bill and courier services etc.
* Coordinate and distribute invoices to concern department.
* Monitor old outstanding invoices not being paid or dispute invoices.
* Reconcile advance payment to supplier.
* Initiates accrual report.
* Post Journal Vouchers.
* Jumeirah Corporate Invoice postings and reconciliations.
* Contract management: Recording and maintaining contract cost.
* Capital Expenditure account reconciliation and JV postings.

About you:
* Experience working in similar role for ‎3 years or more.
* Proficient in Excel and mandatory knowledge in Sun system.
* Graduate in Accounting or Related fields.
* Experience in hospitality industry
* Proficient in English communication and computer skills particularly MS applications.
