About the Role:
An exciting role has arisen for a passionate Human Resources Executive to join
the Human Resources team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait. You
will be responsible for assisting in recruitment, payroll, colleague
engagement, coordinating and implementing department activities and projects,
and assisting department management.
Your key duties will include:
* Assisting in sourcing and screening of suitable candidates and conducting interviews as required.
* Assist to organize colleague events, recognition ceremonies and team building activities to enhance colleague engagement.
* Prepare various HR reports and summaries as required.
* Assist in maintaining the HRIS system.
* Responsible for inspection, requisition, complaint handling for the smooth operation of colleagues' canteen.
* Support colleagues with general requests and queries in order to maintain a customer service oriented and supportive HR function.
* Provide opportunities for Colleagues to discuss typical employment issues to increase engagement.
* Maintain effective administration processes in the department to ensure efficiency and customer service.
* Assist with candidates' transition and onboarding process.
* Establish meaningful business relationships to understand operation, anticipate challenges and find relevant solutions.
* Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management team including occasional operational assistance for large events or hotel functions.

About you:
A Human Resources Executive is always working on behalf of our Guest and
working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should
maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
* Internationally recognized education
* Previous experience in or equivalent role, preferably in a ‎5 star luxury hotel environment or related industry
* Experience in the Middle East is desirable
* Recruitment experience
* Positive attitude
* Excellent communication and people skills - strong command of English language
* Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally
* Excellent grooming standards
* Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to work on their own or in teams
* Experience with MS office applications and outlook
