DESCRIPTION
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's Preferred with Advanced Petrophysics / Unconventional Characterization
* Minimum ‎15 years of industry experience in an oil exploration and production company or international service company as Geologist/Geomodellor.
* At least ‎15 years of experience dealing with various tight carbonates, Unconventional and fractured reservoirs
* Expert in building high-resolution static incorporating all kinds of data (especially for unconventional reservoirs).
* Expert in building Fracture network models and calibrating the same with production data
* Advance level of knowledge in seismic interpretation and utilization of seismic data
* Expertise in providing well subsurface locations based on Models, Seismic Impedance and Porosity maps.
* Experienced subsurface geologist for well planning and delivery
* Thorough knowledge of drilling for casing / coring/ pressure / sampling point selection
* Planning & coordination with drilling/ PEs, REs, Petrophysics, geophysicists for well planning
* Thorough knowledge of workover operations including old well re-entry, fishing, window cutting, side tracking milling, completion and testing
* Experienced with planning & drilling of directional, horizontal wells in onland rigs for deeper carbonate reservoirs. Multilateral experience preferred.
* Should have good understanding of Petrophysical logs and their basic QC.
* Should have good understanding of Mud logging and interpretation of their data.
* Experienced in use of geological techniques such as Minor mud loss & Coriallis for fracture detection/early kick detection, Managed Pressure Drilling etc.
* Experienced in pore pressure prediction and detection preferably in high pressure fractured / kerogen type unconventional carbonate reservoirs, as well as Salt & Anhydrite rocks
* Has coaching and mentoring ability to impart skills and knowledge to younger team members.
