Treasury System Support - ( 210000A7 )
Description
Job Purpose:
The role is to support Treasury applications to the level that meets business
requirements through analysis and resolution of reported cases pertaining to
the Front Office, Risk Management, Finance and Integration and Workflows.
Handle, in addition, needed analysis, configuration and troubleshooting of the
Murex modules and other treasury software.
Accountabilities:
Handle discussions with the business and perform thorough analysis on cases
reported by business users. Ensure appropriate follow-up until resolution
while keeping the head of team always informed and escalating problems as
required.
Provide continuous support accordingly by troubleshooting stated issues and
guiding users to ensure optimal usage of the systems.
Develop proactive measures and solutions to minimize reoccurrences of issues.
Coordinate with the external vendors to select new products, functionalities
and upgrades that best fit the business needs.
Conduct thorough analysis in order to properly configure new
functionalities/tools in-house on the system.
Collaborate with the Murex company with aim to obtain needed advice on new
products feature specification and functional configuration to be implemented
at the Bank. Update the manager for decision making accordingly.
Perform regression testing on new deliveries and conduct in-depth analysis and
configuration
Resolve end-of-day issues
Handle the Release Management procedures pertaining to new binaries
implementation and regression testing planning and coordination upon
completion of the project.
Qualifications
* Education / Qualifications:
Bachelor or MS in Computer Science
* Knowledge:
* knowledge of Murex application front to middle to back office
* Knowledge on interfacing around Murex with third party tools.
* Treasury product functional knowledge, i.e. FXMM, derivatives, Fixed income, islamics
* Strong knowledge on Murex technology
* Experience:
6-7 years' experience in capital market domain of which at least 4 on the
Murex software
* Generic & Specific Skills:
* SQL (Oracle)
* Unix commands.
* Trade life cycle management.
* Murex environment management
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter
* Possess good verbal and written communication skills
