Job description

The Fulfilment Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring a high-
performing Fulfilment Operations. Collaboratively with the market teams, they
drive the business agenda for Central Fulfilment, Store Fulfilment, and
Warehousing capabilities. This includes controlling operational costs and
ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement in fulfilment
processes across stores, shops, and central units to optimize market-level
performance and ensure a seamless omnichannel experience for IKEA customers
Key Assignments:
* Securing high-performing daily fulfilment operations and an efficient fulfilment network and capacities in the market including standard operating procedures, planning, execution and follow-up and day-to-day continuous improvement of operations, processes and systems, WAY and legal compliance with a focus on quality and a customer-centric, collaborative mind-set in all touchpoints at the lowest possible cost.
* Driving excellence in operations , quality and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the scope of Fulfilment in the market to exceed customer expectations, provide a seamless shopping experience and great quality in meeting with the customer.
* Leading, coaching and developing the market fulfilment organisation to secure an inspiring and motivating environment where talents are continuously developed including long-term competence building based on identified business needs, and succession planning all with diversity and inclusion in mind.
* Ensuring that Fulfilment is considered as an equal business partner towards all relevant stakeholders and that the function is fully integrated into related processes.
* Securing seamless cooperation of Fulfilment with a customer-centric, collaborative, end-to-end and process-oriented mindset within the market, towards in Service Office and other relevant stakeholders
* Securing efficiency and implementing improvements in all fulfilment units in a market being part of a Multichannel Network cooperation with relevant stakeholders throughout the organisation to reach excellence in execution and exceed customer expectations.
* Ensuring short- and mid-term capacities and resources in the market's fulfilment network to provide a seamless shopping experience with great quality for many people.
* Controlling the cost development of the Fulfilment function based on contribution to the establishment of the cost goal
* Promoting and stimulating entrepreneurial orientation and contribution to development and innovation for the own organisation and total IKEA in close cooperation with the other functions
* Implementing the Customer Fulfilment sustainability agenda for Fulfilment operations in all stores on the market.

Qualification
* University degree (Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management) or proven performance in logistics/commercial/supply chain management
* ‎4-‎6 years of working experience in a management or key leadership position, preferably in (IKEA) retail, logistics, or similar.
* Proven successful leadership in a big organization, delivering both business results and people development.
* Retail/home furnishing/supply chain/customer service experience and interest
* Experience of working as a management team member with proven ability to make a difference by positively influencing the business directly as well as through good collaboration.
* Experience in securing the implementation of mid-term and long-term strategies and plans and set/follow-up goals.
* Proven ability to influence in a matrix organisation.
* Successfully lead projects or processes on country/market/national level
* Good coaching and/or mentor, advisory and facilitation skills, conflict management skills and problem-solving experience
* Fluent in English both written and verbal.
* IKEA business model, the strategic landscape, and IKEA ways of working.
* Good business understanding: understanding of key performance measurement used to plan, follow up, and steer the business with a customer-centric approach.
* Excellent knowledge of IKEA processes, supply chain, warehousing operations, and service business leading to excellent customer fulfillment.
* Excellent knowledge of the customer and co-worker needs, demands, and expectations on the markets.
* Market intelligence: applies market knowledge to achieve organizational goals and objectives; includes market specifics in the decision-making process.
* Change management and leading in the unknown/exploring.
* Knowledge of different leadership styles (such as interdependent, indirect, situational, etc.) and needs as well as appropriate use for different situations.
* Stakeholder management: knowledge of how to identify and involve relevant stakeholders in a project, process, or question to make things happen.
* Financial competence and understanding of the financial impact on the total network.
* Understanding of cultural differences and the importance of diverse teams to meet the customers ' expectations.
