Description
Roles and Responsibility
1. Analyze requirements, articulate, document, and sign-off design solutions
in collaboration with partners, and internal teams. Highlight risks, and
mitigating actions / solution chosen.
2. Evaluate multiple options for a given requirement, prepare, and present
solution proposals for review, and approval by appropriate stakeholders.
3. Continuously upgrade NFR expected from solutions, and do a risk weighted
evaluation of the same when reviewing options, and proposing solutions.
4. Review existing EA principles, policy, standards, and process.
Continuously refine, and adopt more simple & agile practices without
compromising quality.
5. Benchmark existing EA governance against well known EA frameworks. Work
towards aligning, and improving the maturity level of the practice with well
established benchmarks.
6. Perform periodic audit of existing applications from an architecture
perspective, and prepare gaps/risks to be addressed by the respective support
team(s) while looking at ways of future proofing the application, and system
stack.
7. Looks for ways of automating and consolidating existing technical stack
which will reduce overall cost of ownership without compromising security &
quality.
8. Research current and emerging technologies, and propose upgrades/changes
to the technology stack where needed.
9. Collaborate with leads across Application, Infrastructure, Integration,
and with business representatives when analyzing, and proposing solutions.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
a. BE/BS in Computer Engineering/Science Or above. Tech Degrees in any other
subject with relevant experience is acceptable.
b. At-least 5years of experience in solution architect with a good
understanding of non-functional aspects, and a minimum of 10years overall
experience in IT.
c. At-least 5years of development experience as a lead using technologies like
Java, .Net, and related stack like integrations, middleware, databases. A good
grounding on OOPS, design patterns, integration patterns and OWASP principles.
d. A good understanding of the end-to-end solutioning is desirable with any
hands-on experience with infrastructure, networks and security aspects
preferred.
e. Banking domain experience is a must along with an association in a digital
transformation project.
f. Should have experience evaluating cloud ready application using Docker
containers, Kubernetes etc. & the choices to be made in these environments.
g. Significant experience with platform stack across web, middleware,
integration, and database. Preferably platforms like Weblogic, jBOSS, Tomcat,
Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL and NoSQL DB will be desirable.
h. Desirable experience with in-memory database, ELK stack, monitoring tools,
CI/CD platforms, Source Code Review tools, low-code/no code tools etc.
i. Expert communication skills in preparing, and articulating solution
proposals, and architectural aspects.
