Solution Architect - Healthcare - McKinsey Digital

Who You'll Work With

You will be based in Saudi (Riyadh), Egypt (Cairo) or Qatar(Doha) and will
become part of the McKinsey Digital practice.
You will be part of a global leadership team across the full technology
landscape from strategy (with senior executives) to execution (pair
programming with entry-level developers). Your colleagues are creative
entrepreneurs who previously led multiple organizations, built, and scaled new
businesses, and ran startups around the world.

What You'll Do

You will collaborate with a global team of digital experts to design, build,
and scale built-for-purpose healthcare systems.
You will have opportunities to lead people and design systems as well as make
hands-on coding contributions, as we do not separate technical delivery and
architecture into different roles. You will help assess the current state of
our clients healthcare architecture, and bring your knowledge of healthcare
architecture best practices to recommend future state systems and
capabilities. You will collaborate with product owners and designers to define
requirements and refine them with the software engineering team. You will lead
the day-to-day technical delivery of joint McKinsey-client teams that are
working to build healthcare experiences and platforms. You will also help non-
technical stakeholders understand healthcare technology in strategy
discussions.

Qualifications

• ‎8+ years of work experience as a Solution Architect or Tech Lead in the healthcare domain with a distinctive record of professional achievement and impact


• Deep expertise in your domain, including up-to-date knowledge of frontend and backend development utilizing frameworks such as React, Angular, NextJS, and Node.js; container technology CI/CD best practices; and working with Cloud tech and JavaScript, Android (Kotlin/Java), Swift, MySQL, Ruby on Rails, Java, .Net core, HTML, and CSS


• Expertise in healthcare solution architecture, including the typical capabilities and integrations of common backend systems (e.g., PIM, OMS, WMS, TMS, etc.)


• Expertise in healthcare technology trends, such as benefits of headless architecture


• Enjoys working with cross-functional teams of developers, designers, marketers, and product/business profiles to deliver healthcare solutions


• Experienced in making trade-offs in software and able to identify best fit for business needs


• Comfortable leading technical teams across the full stack in the healthcare domain, including UI design and development, API development and management, cloud infrastructure, payments, and master data management


• Comfortable with presenting to senior executives from technical and non-technical backgrounds in English
