Pastry Commi II
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Pastry Commi II to join our Premium Dining team.
As a Pastry Commi II, you will be responsible for assisting the Pastry Chefs
in preparing and producing high-quality desserts and pastries.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Pastry Chefs in the preparation of a variety of desserts,
pastries, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
• Measure and mix ingredients, prepare fillings and toppings, and decorate
pastries as needed.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper storage,
handling, and labeling of food products.
• Maintain a clean and organized pastry station, including equipment and
tools.
• Communicate effectively with the Pastry Chef and other kitchen staff to
ensure the timely and accurate production of desserts and pastries.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies as
needed.
• Continuously learn new pastry techniques and recipes to enhance your skills
and contribute to the development of the pastry program.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school or pastry certification
is a plus.
• Previous experience as a Pastry Commi or similar role in a high-end
restaurant or pastry shop for at least 1 years.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts.
