Communications Support Engineer- Kuwait

The Communications Engineer shall provide technical advice, assistance, and
demonstration of methods to Kuwait military personnel for the testing,
maintenance, repair, configuration, and operation of all Kuwait PATRIOT
communications equipment (ECS, ICC, CRG, FSAMG, TMK) located at seven (7) Fire
Unit sites, 2 ICC Sites, CP1 (ADSI, DTCS/BLOS), Kuwait Air Operations Center
(KAOC) and Backup Air Operations Center (BAOC). The individual is responsible
for monitoring, reporting on, maintenance, and configuration of UHF/VHF
radios, COMSEC, IP Routers, Servers, cabling, etc. The Communications Engineer
shall be knowledgeable in configuration and operation of network diagnostic
equipment for both IP, serial, and fiber optic mediums.
The Communications Engineer shall assist in the coordination of
maintenance/repairs with Battalion and Central Maintenance Facility (CMF)
personnel. This individual will assist with the Kuwait Patriot Risk Management
Framework (RMF) /Cyber Security policies and procedures and coordinate these
efforts with CENTCOM and Raytheon RMF teams. The Communications Engineer shall
be familiar with and assist the Loading of Patriot COMSEC key material into
the SKL and those codes into relative Patriot communications equipment. The
Communications Engineer shall advise on communications planning for all fixed
site and tactical deployments. The Communications Engineer shall also be
responsible for Tower Mounted UHF/VHF equipment, requiring tower climbing
certification.
