About the job
As this is a location-agnostic role (Oman/ UAE/ Kuwait/ Qatar/ Bahrain), to be
considered for this role the candidate must already be physically based in
Kuwait
As the Head of HRBPs, you’ll play a key role in leading the people agenda in
partnership with the HRBPs across ‎4 countries in the GCC. The role is a mix of
strategic responsibility of the long term health of the business (Culture,
Capability, and Capacity), and tactical responsibility of proactively ensuring
Operational Excellence for better employee experiences at the various sites.
Reporting to the VP - Human Resources Gulf and Interfacing with the wider HR
network, you represent and contribute to regional people-related initiatives.
You are a partner to the business leadership in guiding & supporting on a wide
range of HR activities & programs. You are hands-on and bring best-in-class
performance management, employee relations, labour law & policy
implementation, reporting/analysis, and HR processes. You provide proactive
advice on all day-to-day HR activities to the business leadership teams,
leveraging a network of experts behind the scenes to provide the right
solution.
Main Responsibilities:
• You’re a coach: You’ll be able to coach, counsel, and guide employees
throughout their career journey.
• You’re a changemaker: You’ll track trends in employee and line manager needs
to provide insights and support to upskill the business (Capability building &
Future Fitting).
• You’re a paradox navigator: You’ll recognize the importance of balancing
business wants and needs with company policies, procedures, and legal
compliance codes.
• You’re a culture & change champion: You will be the face of HR, supporting
the business through the change from People perspective.

Frontline Support
• Enabling great leadership by partnering them and providing excellent
guidance by being an expert HR partner who can build trust through deep
relationships across the business.
• Proactively engages with the business about key Employee Moments and ensure
HR delivery is fully aligned to business goals.
• Flex for ad-hoc requests but also able to address issues early on (setting
up preventive measures is even better!)
• You act as a coach to the leaders on talent management and employee
relations inquiries alongside GCC HRBPs.
HR Strategy & Operations
• Champion HR processes in the team – acting as a super user, facilitating
understanding of processes, tools, portal, roles & responsibilities, and raise
issues with the service delivery team (people experience) as needed.
• You support the culture in terms of talent management strategy and career
development initiatives, including activation of the performance management
cycle in line with calendar timelines.
• You support resolving local frontline employee escalations (including
Payroll errors, grievances, disciplinary, dispute resolutions, absence, and
performance) and escalate as needed.
• Collaborating with GCC HRBPs to design and lead the implementation of
programs & projects, as well as with other HR teams to drive implementation of
fit for purpose initiatives.
• Ensuring that employee policies, practices, and programs are consistently
applied across the business.
• Being involved in organizing and implementing learning workshops,
organizational changes, ED&I; initiatives, Rewards, and health & wellbeing
activities for employees, enabling them to thrive.
• Coordinating with our People Experience team to make sure we responsibly run
employee data management activities and execute standard processes flawlessly,
using available technologies.
• Provide/ consolidate key HR information (e.g. people moves, diversity &
nationalization stats, learning stats, active & expected vacancies, turnover,
leave utilization) and provide detailed reports & insights as required to
support the overall HR strategy.
