Your Mission
You would be part of the Engineering Excellence Centre (EEC) organization; a
global group in charge of executing projects within Schneider Electric. Within
EEC, you would be exposed to Schneider Electric's state-of-the-art solutions
and platforms, and you would get a chance to participate in projects from all
over the globe with a special focus on sustainability, efficiency, and
digitization.
The Software Development Team Lead will be part of an agile development team,
building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the
Microsoft .NET development stack/NodeJs. The Software Development Team Lead
will provide technical and team leadership through coaching and mentorship.

We are looking to hire an experienced Software Technical Leader to head up our
development team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the
development and implementation of new software systems. You may also be
required to update existing software and conduct feasibility studies on
company systems. While your role will be managerial in nature, you will also
be expected to code applications, create reports, and mentor the junior
developers.
Software Technical Leader Responsibilities
* Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
* Conducting feasibility studies for upgraded software systems.
* Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
* Designing new software programs, websites, and applications.
* Assigning tasks to junior developers such as coding, testing, debugging, and analytics.
* Work closely with the engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach. Be a hands-on technical leader and contributor.
* Writing advanced programming code.
* Reviewing updated software systems.
* Troubleshoot technical issues that involve software development, engineering tasks and product releases.
* Managing project timelines and tasks.
* Writing development reports.
* Creating technical documents for new software programs.
* Provide training to team members
