Overview of the role

Management and direction of the Commercial Management Services Department in
successfully delivering an identified program of works for a multi-use
development on time and within budget, by Group Policies, to ensure efficient
use of investment funds in asset creation, development, and handover to end-
users.

What you will do

• Providing Commercial Management Services to an Al Futtaim Group Real Estate program of works (e.g. CFC).


• Managing and directing Program Commercial Manager and Portfolio Commercial Managers to ensure commercial advice is provided to the AFGRE Team.


• Developing strategy for procurement of projects and consultancy services to meet the time, quality, and cost requirements of the development plan.


• Managing the resolution of claims and disputes using outsourced and internal resources dependent on complexity, size of the claim, and resources available in compliance with contractual terms and timescales.


• Managing the maintenance and update of Standard form contracts, by Gbyure allocation of risk in accordance with group policy.


• Managing pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying Services including, without limitation, cost estimating, monthly accounts, review of cost and budget forecasts, quantum analysis of claims and variation submissions, and final account settlement.


• Monitoring and maintaining development-wide insurance policies about construction Indemnity, Contractors All Risk, Third Party, and Other contract insurance requirements).


• Developing and maintaining forms and processes to ensure internal approvals are obtained in accordance with group policies and the Delebyy.

  Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or any related field.

  
  


• ‎20 - ‎25 years of experience in a senior position in a commercial role (Contractors, Clients, Consultants, Developers) in real estate development or construction sectors.


• Professional qualification (MRICS, MCIOB) is an asset.
