Job Purpose:
The Customer Supply Chain Head is directly responsible/accountable for the
"customer interfacing" Supply Chain functions, i.e. Demand Forecasting,
Customer Services and Warehouse & Distribution incl. NPI, InMarket Supply and
Repacking. The Area CSC lead is the first point of contact for Market GMs.
Major accountabilities:
Strategic leadership
* Provide Supply Chain functional input into the Commercial area Strategy and Commercial input into the Supply Chain Strategy
* Contribute through local cross-functional collaboration to setting the budget and track accordingly
* Translate Regional/Area Supply Chain strategy into local implementation plan
Organizational leadership
* Deliver CH objectives, supporting the commercial business in growth, margin increase and end to end working capital reduction
* Single point of accountability for end-to-end Supply Chain Quality, Service and Cost and contribute to flawless collaboration across Quality, Regulatory, QA and Supply Chain
* Champion the customer throughout the E2E supply chain through outside in thinking.
Operational performance
Accountable for the Supply Chain management team, financials, KPIs and
customers for the end to end supply chain

* Recruit, build, lead and develop talented team
* CMO
* Manage the CMO network of the SA area in collaboration with the MEA regional CMO organization
* Customer
* Understand the needs and expectations of our customers to improve the way we manage every aspect of our supply chain, with an aim to improve customer relationships and customer satisfaction
* Best in class order to invoice processes and enhanced customer service.
* W &D
* Continuously improved efficiency and operations of warehouse, distribution, repacking, call centers
* Drive down combined primary and secondary distribution as well as warehousing costs within respective commercial area.
* Demand Forecasting
* Own and drive CCC/IBP S&OP process
Challenge Commercial's plan to ensure realistic and in line with statistical
forecasting.
* Financials
* Own SC line in Area P&L.
* Set performance metrics objectives and drive rigorous Performance Management to improve performance in line with business expectation in alignment with area/regional objectives
* Deliver continuous improvement to increase productivity within the Supply Chain from Demand Forecasting to deliver to Customers, achieving tangible results in inventory reduction, forecast accuracy, customer service, lead-time reduction, cost reduction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accountable for Area Supply Chain management team, financials, KPIs (OTIF, FA, SFA, Inventory) and customers for the end to end supply chain
* Part of the Area Leadership Team and single point of contact/escalation for Area GM (VP) and Market GMs on end-to-end Supply Chain Performance
* Lead the Area Supply team covering Demand Forecasting, Customer Service and Warehouse & Distribution.
* Optimise area SC P&L
* Focus the end-to-end supply chain on aligning to deliver against customer needs / demand at the area & market level

Basic Qualifications
Education & Experience:
* Experience in Commercial / Demand Forecasting, S&OP, Statistical forecasting / P&L management / Procurement / Customer Service /Mid-size team management
* Demonstrated ability to contribute to in country / area leadership team meetings and decision making process
* Good understanding of business environment, ability to debate issues with peers and senior colleagues and manage multiple business priorities simultaneously
* Ability to work off own initiative and comfortable with delegated responsibility
* Demonstrated people skills and ability to manage diverse mid-size team of experts
* Demonstrated ability to work with external stakeholders and customers
* Additional language(s) may be an advantage
* The Area Customer Supply Chain role will be required to interact with senior managers (to VP level) in the commercial and supply chain organization, Global Category Teams and their area teams in Demand Forecasting, Customer Service and Logistics role.. A key part of the role will also to be to build relationships with external Customer Supply chain excellence groups in order to benchmark against our competitors and drive process improvement with our customers.
* Build strong links to the central Move Product and Logistics function and use them to help transforming regional CSC by applying best in class practices
* Retain and build a best in class regional CSC team by vigorously driving PDP and talent management process
* Build strong network internally and externally. Alignment to key stakeholders and support function critical.
* Collaborative relationships with key customers and warehouse and distribution providers to drive cost and service improvements.
* In addition work effectively with the following central teams; Central Logistics, External Supply, Supply hubs, Procurement, Finance, IT, QA and Category teams.
