Department brief:
The Digital Buildings team aims to execute Building Management Systems and
Data Center projects, in addition to develop Analytics solutions for asset
management and predictive maintenance to decrease our customer risk of
equipment down time and maximize asset performance.
Job Description:
The Digital Buildings Engineer will maintain, install and commission our full
suite of products primarily our EcoStruxture Building Operation and Data
Center packages offering and provide technical assistance to our team of
Digital Buildings Business engineers.
Working at multiple client sites, and becoming a part of a team that provides
outstanding service and support to our clients.
Competencies and skills
• Understanding of HVAC process, Building Automation, Energy Management, or
other digital buildings control systems.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Schneider Electric products and software
solutions is preferred.
• Good understanding of datacenter infrastructure and network communication
systems.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings and symbols.
• Ability to analyze system drawings and schematics.
• Good knowledge of standard communication protocols such as Modbus, and SNMP.
• Good IT Skills for network troubleshooting, software installation, and
configuration of servers as well as workstations.
• Good knowledge of web-services and APIs .
• Familiar with different systems databases (SQL, Postgre. …etc.).
• Good programming skills.
• Ability for taking the ownership.
• Self-learning and self-motivation.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent command of English language both written and spoken.
• French speaking is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Additional Requirements**
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent.
