You will be working as a Market Developer - Africa - Smart Buildings, at
global grade ‎12 and will be the part of Electrification Business Area for
Smart Buildings Division based in, Cairo, Egypt & Dubai, UAE. In this role
you will be reporting to Market Development Manager - WA and will be
responsible to support Product Group Energy Distribution & Wiring accessories
Product Group by focusing on defining and implementing marketing and sales
strategies specifically aimed at developing into Africa region, segments, or
other strategic areas not currently defined. Ensure the definition of the
business plan, annual marketing plans, and marketing strategies according to
budget.


Your responsibilities



  • Contribute to Product Group Energy Distribution & Wiring accessories PG strategy definition and execution through the analysis and identification of new markets, segments and/or product solutions.

  • Analyze customer needs for the portfolio, securing customer advantages and benefit as well as white spot analysis and connected strategies to penetrate the market.

  • Develop and implements business strategies for newly defined areas in alignment with the PG strategy. Provide market intelligence analyses in support of identification and development of new markets, segments or solutions.

  • Participate in internal work groups in order to share know-how, processes and market information.

  • Collaborate with all related internal contacts to ensure alignment, efficiency and effectiveness in the implementation of PG initiatives.

  • Coordinate product marketing launch development plans and ensure efficient and effective execution together with the Local Sales Units. Ensure budget (volumes) and profitable growth targets are achieved and achievement of targets on orders, net price variance (NPV), Transfer Price Variance (TPV), etc.


Your background



  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering or/and a solid technical background in electrotechnics.

  • At least ‎5 years of experience, preferably in a global business environment, in Sales & Marketing in the field of low voltage products/systems.

  • Exceptional analytical, communication, negotiation and leadership skills and capability to define and adapt new business model in order to properly address new and evolving business environments.

  • Availability for business travel.

  • A strong customer-focused mindset and willpower that contribute to our future success.

  • Self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies.

  • Fluency in both spoken and written English & French language is a must.
