Our Finance team brings together our financial perspectives into our overall
strategic and tactical decision making. We use state-of-the-art techniques for
financial analysis, planning, accounting, reporting and performance
evaluation. This allows the organization to continue advancing medical
innovation and improve lives.
Responsibilities:
Accounting to Reporting
Perform monthly closing activities according to both policy and requirement
checklists.
Bank Transfers and purchasing currency process
Revise monthly bank accounts reconciliations.
Review Trial Balance monthly to acknowledge adjustments when needed
Coordinate with the various tax inspections.
Coordinate with the external auditors in the preparation of annual financial
statements and annual tax returns.
Participate in preparing budget annually and quarterly updating forecast.
Good knowledge of payroll, benefits and personal income taxes calculations
Good knowledge of VAT laws and application.
Order to Cash
Review aging report monthly, monitor customers’ overdue balances, discuss it
With related stakeholders and propose solutions
Rebates accrual review against company scheme and deals with customers to
identify differences and deviations.
Review Customers Cash discount against company policy and special deals
DSO calculation monthly and communicate it to related stakeholders along with
illustrative comments.
Inventory and Cost Accounting
Co-ordinate in products’ transfer pricing yearly update with supply chain team
Participate in updating and preparing standard prices upon submitting on SAP
Inventory controlling activities such as Physical Count and timely review with
warehouse team.
Acquainted with Cost of Goods Sold calculation and review according to
Accounting Principles
Source to Settle
Check POs’ document accuracy and review with procurement upon payment request
Monthly analysis check and review Imported Shipments related cost, monitor the
changes on month to month basis compared to PY
Follow up timely with BSC (Business service center) vendors’ blocked cases
Controlling activities including but not limited to
Interpret Standard Operating policies and procedures, prepare memorandums
outlining and explaining administrative procedures and policies for the
purpose of internal control.
Perform and/or review specific account analysis and reconciliations on a
periodic basis to ensure compliance with internal policies and internal
control system standards.
Support the external auditors during the annual statutory audit, including
preparation of financial statements, respective documentation and assistance
during the audit process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Relevant working experience from 3 - 5 years with multinational companies,
pharmaceutical companies will be preferable
Excellent English language writing and speaking
SAP user is preferable
Big 4 experience is highly desirable
Excellent Knowledge with Microsoft office applications
Excellent analytical and communication skills
