RISE TO THE CHALLENGE

The Head of eCommerce will be responsible for site operations, online
marketing, merchandise assortment, merchandising, promotions and brand
maintenance. In this role he will be acting as the first point of contact with
partners on a day-to-day basis. The ideal candidate is a highly driven third-
party marketplace expert who has a background in both technical and business
building within key Marketplaces and eRetailers in Egypt, and other eCommerce
platforms in Egypt.

This position will collaborate closely with, digital, communication,
operations and other areas of the company to execute existing and develop new
Marketplace initiatives, owned commerce and opportunities designed to meet and
exceed the needs of the customer and the eCommerce revenue goals. The
candidate will provide day-to-day management of the site and collaborate on
strategic leadership and guidance of eCommerce strategies.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for crafting, developing and sustaining the partnership strategy aligned with eCommerce strategy
* As a commerce subject matter specialist, identify new partner opportunities that will enable us to deliver on our business strategies and commercial objectives.
* Communicate PMI's Smoke Free Vision to partners and present critical and strategic mindset when leading the analysis and evaluation of partners strongly linked to business strategy
* Optimize products to e-commerce marketplace channels, owned ecommerce and other eCommerce channels.
* Oversee the day-to-day E-commerce operations, customer service, updates, post listings, promotions, merchandising, maintenance, and performance.
* Ensure that daily site maintenance is conducted; correcting product descriptions, product placement, new item posting, out of stock item removal and functionality meets and exceeds company expectations.
* Conduct keyword research, site analysis/audits, link building and keyword expansion
* Develop time and action calendars with processes and procedures to ensure actions are successfully completed.
* Drive the internal governance and secure alignment and support for the key partners across multiple PMI functions. Identify and build tangible use cases and partnership Opportunities
* Communicate PMI's Smoke Free Vision to partners and present critical and strategic mindset when leading the analysis and evaluation of partners strongly linked to business strategy
* Develop the inflow strategy and deck to ensure the site is well promoted according to company directives and standards
* Work closely with the consumer journey and digital team to support the delivery of integrated communication strategies to help build the brand and drive key consumer acquisition, retention programs
* Plan out and execute marketplace promotions to maximize growth
* Drill down into marketing channels and site performance metrics to explain variances to business
* Ensure marketplace copy and meta data are fully optimized to maximize traffic from search engines
* Develop and implement the assortment and inventory plan to match the sales plan. Work with internal divisions to maximize inventory.
* Provide on-going strategic insights and recommendations of new marketplaces channels with growth plans.
* Reporting weekly sales report to management
* Overseeing the development of customer relationships through marketplace

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required


• Experience of working directly with online marketplaces (preferably Amazon) across a number of brands, including FMCG (marketplace, agency or brand /client side).


• A detailed understanding of the online retail market especially Marketplace Business Models, with a particular focus on Amazon. A strong data and partnership background to understand both the opportunities and limitations of working with online retailers.


• Demonstration of established network in Marketplaces and commerce,


• Proven experience of delivering successful projects in sophisticated matrixed organisations.


• Broad digital marketing experience that is not limited to (but should include) marketplaces.
