Why this role?
We are looking for a Field Support Engineer - Elevators to provide technical
support during the installation and commissioning of KONE products. He/She
will resolve technical issues identified by installation or maintenance teams,
working to ensure products are installed in compliance with KONE's safety
process and quality requirements.
What will you do?
* Liaise with relevant site personnel to ascertain state of escalator/elevator
* Post notices on escalator/elevator and communicate with others who may be affected
* Ensure that the escalator/elevator is electrically safe
* Commission the escalator/elevator in accordance with the agreed specification parameters
* Test the escalator/elevator in accordance with the relevant test document and KONE standard
* Take measurements and completes the necessary documentation
* Record any abnormalities for corrective action
* Carry out final inspection and sign the final inspection document
* Report the condition of the escalator/elevator to the Installation Engineer responsible for site activities.
Are you the one?
* Bachelor degree in Engineering
* 5-8 years of relevant experience in the elevators and escalators industry is a must
* Excellent Arabic and English language skill
* Able to communicate well and effectively among the team
* Possess the basic knowledge of computer skills such as word, excel, outlook and power point
