Maersk Egypt is looking for a customer-facing, self-driven sales professional
based in Cairo, Egypt who will be responsible for the commercial development
and delivery of results for the company within a defined geographical scope
and within a certain industry segment.
The purpose of the role is to drive and support customers' growth through our
ocean product as well as through logistics and services. The role is expected
to build and leverage internal stakeholders with different functions to
facilitate the development of solutions as well as managing external customer
relationships to build strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
* Accountable for securing new contracted customers for both ocean and cold chain logistics
* Accountable for delivery of gross profit to meet and exceed targets through assigned customers
* Ensure constant development of existing as well as new customers
* Implement established sales processes (e.g. sales calls, pipeline, account plan, etc.)
* Accountable for developing customer relationships with senior decision-makers
* Understand overall business of the customer to be able to come across other business opportunities to up-sell or cross-sell other Maersk products and grow our share-of-wallet
* Execute sales process in a structured way thorough identifying and understanding client needs and creating a value proposition, negotiating contracts and monitoring adherence to agreed commitments
* Responsible for maintaining a healthy and up-to-date sales pipeline with optimizing sales CRM system
Who are we looking for?
* Proven experience in a commercial role within the logistics and cold chain logistics industry.
* Excellent understanding of cold chain solutions and operations covering all modes of international and domestic transportation, customs house brokerage, airfreight, warehousing and distribution and supply-chain management.
* Strong ability to qualify leads and to develop winning customer value propositions.
* Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
* Good command of English and Arabic language, both written and oral.
* Personal Integrity and adherence to company's values.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Self-starter and comfortable with high level of autonomy
* Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
