We have an opportunity for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist II to join our
Honeywell Building Technologies Team in Cairo, Egypt.
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist II will be supporting the Regional Sourcing
team to drive procurement of material and services
Strategic Sourcing Specialist II Responsibilities*
* Support Business for Sourcing scope needs for Projects
* Support Sales/estimation team by brining cost effective alternate vendors to increase winnability
* Prepare Sourcing Plans for Project or site applying Sole source elimination, e sourcing, Value Engineering and High Growth region sourcing techniques
* Manage Supplier selection, RFQ and RFI process,
* Negotiation, Contracting and supplier performance processes
* Work with Internal Sourcing, business and other stakeholders for Procure to Payment process
* Improve Working Capital through Payment Terms extensions, Payment cycle optimization, Vendor Managed Inventories , Inventory and Lead time reductions
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor 's Degree in engineering or Supply Chain or equivalent
* Extensive proven related industry experience
* Highly proficiency in all of the key areas of supply chain management preferably from similar industry with Project environment in the Egyptian market
* An Egyptian national
* 3-5 Years of experience in procurement
* Negotiation Experience
* Import/Export Knowledge
* Analytical Skills
* Experience in managing several projects in dynamic site environment
