We have an opportunity for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist II to join our
Honeywell Building Technologies team in Riyadh, KSA.
Strategic Sourcing Specialist II Responsibilities**
*
Supports all LOBs, and focus on ‎210 &‎290 business in negotiations and contract formation with key suppliers driving incremental value to the business, including internal Honeywell and external suppliers.
* Drives best practices and Operational Excellence among local Subcontracts
* Sending RFQ /Scope to Subcontractors and obtain quote
* Negotiate with materials vendors for price reduction
* Develop relationships with major key subcontractors /suppliers to achieve business results.
* Negotiating with subcontractors / suppliers where necessary.
* Drive use of qualified suppliers and use of negotiated catalogues by operations estimating team. Use applicable negotiation strategies/eAuction to achieve savings
* Act as the focal point for the proposal /operations teams within assigned Enterprise.
* Ensures supply chain representation during solution development, estimate and risk reviews in accordance with standard Honeywell policies and approval requirements.
* Finalize subcontract agreement within company T&Cs, back to back scope tom mitigate the risks on the company
* Participate in on-going project status reviews to understand the impact of any supplier / subcontractor issues on the business, and implement corrective actions in cooperation with Operations, as necessary.
* Act as escalation point for supply chain related issues within an assigned geography.
* Assist in auditing business purchase activity in accordance with standard Honeywell policies.
* Renegotiate with subcontractors / materials vendor to record post award savings
* Manage implementation of Common Process/Systems, and other supply chain initiatives as required. ( e-sourcing etc..)
* Closely interacts with supply chain management to align upon global guidelines and initiatives.
* Replace /back-up RSML during vacation/ leaves
Qualifications
*
Bachelor's Degree or University diploma preferred with Engineering background
* ‎8 years experience including ‎3-‎5 years of experience in a subcontracting & sourcing related capacity
* Strong track record of success in previous roles, with continuously expanding scopes of responsibility.
* Experience in Subcontracts Sourcing and Project /Tenders sourcing.
* Experience with SAP or similar ERP and procurement systems preferred.
* Proven Experience in negotiating subcontractors commercial terms and conditions related to procurement of services.

* Strong financial acumen; ability to understand P&L.
* Proficiency in English (written and verbal), other local language required as applicable.
