Across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) JLL is a leading player in the real
estate and hospitality services markets.
The firm has worked in ‎35 countries across the region and employs over ‎1000
internationally qualified professionals across its offices in Dubai, Abu
Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, Cairo, Casablanca and Johannesburg.

What this job involves

This is an internship for six months with the Project and Development Services
team on live projects in Cairo. The work will be involved in all aspects of
services provided but will be working closely with one of the Senior Project /
Commercial Managers on a package of works.
Work alongside the Project and Development Services team and assist in all
aspects of project delivery – pre/post contract.
Minuting meetings and creating agendas.
Participate in project reviews, update meetings, client meetings,
designer/contractor meetings, shadows and learning, scheduling, permitting,
and workshops.
Contribute to the successful execution of other research initiatives as
needed.
Any other task requested by line manager.

Desired skills and experience for this job
Strong analytical background with attention to detail
Strong organizations skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks
Ability to work to meet deadlines, even when timeframes are demanding
Willingness to take on new challenges
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Be capable of managing stress & accepting constructive feedback
Graduate in any discipline or Post Graduate in Project Management /
Engineering – Civil, Environmental, Infrastructure/ Construction Management /
Commercial Management / Quantity Surveying
Knowledge and understanding of the engineering/construction industry
Knowledge and understanding of the cost management tasks such as quantities
take off, payment recommendation, variation assessment …. etc.
