ABB 's Electrification Global Markets organization is responsible for the go-
to-market strategy in ‎100+ countries where the Electrification Business Area
operates. Our ‎10,000 sales & marketing employees connect our customers and

solutions that address their current needs, while anticipating how emerging
trends such as urbanization, digitalization and the shift to sustainable
energy will impact their future needs. You will be working as a Sales Support
Manager and will be the part of Electrification Business Area for Global
Markets based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to the Sales
Support Manager - Middle East and Africa and will be responsible to implement
the lead business, global processes, best practices and solutions across the
Inquiry to Order (ITO) process to meet and exceed external and internal
customer's expectation and be accountable for end of line metrics, e.g.
forecasting accuracy, timely and complete quote, clean orders % (executable
backlog), NPS (Net Promote Score), SFDC data quality and value creation KPIs.


Your responsibilities



  • Accountable for the local implementation of global and lead business sales support strategy. Make optimization plans to increase the operational excellence and external/internal customer 's satisfaction across the inquiry to order (ITO) processes.

  • Focuses on achievement of the assigned targets, through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. Focuses on the sales forecasting accuracy, timely and complete quote, clean orders % (executable backlog), NPS (Net Promote Score), SFDC data quality KPIs, minimize the # of manual sales order changes due to inconsistent master data.

  • Support the sales engineers on leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities management, accounts segmentation, accounts planning, forecasting and overall data quality reported in commercial tools (SFDC, APTTUS…).

  • Leads a team of experts that working on the customers and sales engineers' input, generate products/systems configurations, market special price agreements, direct and indirect quotations, transfer special price agreements to FFs, collect and manage public tendering documentation.

  • Ensures a complete and timely preparation and upload within the global risk review data base of local projects and follow-up based on input providers. Ensures the complete and timely administration of products, customers, and commercial master data (including price list, discounts and credit limits by customer, T&C) within the ERP/commercial tools.

  • Standardize reporting KPIs and build standard sales support dashboard to measure the local achievements vs targets and to provide the input for continuous improvement within the sales community.

  • Implement and ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies, and processes and share the best practices and lessons learned across the organization.


Your background



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic engineering.

  • Minimum ‎5- ‎8 years extensive experience in sales support role like order handling, offer preparation, material master data management, preparing quotations etc.

  • In-depth knowledge in relation to the sales tool deployment (e.g. SFDC, Apttus).

  • Good to have basic knowledge of SAP and MS Office.

  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language is a must.
