Procurement Representative

General Summary
The Procurement Representative provides procurement support to the major spend
categories of direct and Indirect procurement for country/cluster support.
Interviews, selects, and negotiates with vendors. Works closely with suppliers
and internal associates including R &D, Marketing, Supply Chain. Develop
strong resilient supplier base for competitive sourcing enabling the ambitious
business growth. This position typically reports to a Procurement Manager or
Sr. Procurement Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead by example the regional and global safety and ethical initiatives
* Manages day-to-day activities within designated supplier relationships in their assigned categories /region for direct materials which includes raw materials, packaging materials and contract manufacturers (job/toll manufacturer)
* Work with close coordination with regional/ Global procurement and local supply chain as well as internal stakeholders.
* Manages service level and quality complaint resolution as required for existing supplier base
* Identifies, communicates, and supports process improvements for materials or services in assigned areas and with key stakeholders as required
* Manages Complete Indirect & Equipment Category including but not limited to Equipment, Logistics & Warehousing, Facilities, Manufacturing, MRO, IT, Professional Services, Travel & Entertainment, Fleet.
* Collaborate with category team and market team for sourcing alignment that tie to TDC activities
* Responsible for execution and proposing sourcing strategies and savings projects for direct and Indirect procurement
* Responsible for sourcing part of GMI (Gross Margin Improvement), Localization projects and supply resiliency.
* Acts as second line of defense in expediting orders to ensure adherence to contracted delivery terms and investigates and resolves problems as required
* Identifies alternate suppliers and/or alternate materials/processes and drives approval process
* Owns contract process for assigned categories / region. Responsibility for ensuring contracts within the category are updated, accurate, and uploaded in the required contract system
* Responsible for financial reporting of savings projects and headwinds. Manages the tight materials process to ensure security of supply
* Support Ecolab's quality systems through engagement with suppliers to work toward successful corrective action resolution and continued quality
* Leads savings projects on Direct/Indirect/EQ Categories, TDC sourcing process or other initiatives that supports achieving team goals
* Provide market intelligence, insights, and supply security to bring our business a competitive advantage everywhere we operate
* Collaborates with regional / global sourcing teams
* Manage tight material with alternative support
* Build up supplier pool to support resiliency program
Job Requirements:
* ‎3-‎5 Years of relevant Experience
* Bachelor 's Degree in related field (Candidate with Chemical / Technical background preferred)
* Fluent in English, Arabic and French
* Tactical negotiation skills
* Excellent Communication skills
