Summary of the role


Lead a team responsible for identifying and capturing new business
opportunities for Amadeus within your specified territory and customer
segment.

Main responsibilities




Strategic Planning and Execution**



  • Develop and implement the sales strategy for the geography and team under responsibility.

  • Lead a sales team to meet the revenue targets for the geography, being accountable for the performance and results of the team

  • Review and contribute to the segment/geography pipeline

  • Qualify and prioritize business opportunities/leads raised by the sales team in terms of solution fit and revenue potential to gain more market share

  • Lead, negotiate and manage large to extra-large deals to closure, by establishing and developing relationships with C-level executives

  • Define, structure, and analyze the commercial framework for the team

  • Provide clarifications and support resolutions of commercial issues to the rest of the organization

  • Provide guidance and feedback to the sales team, ensuring as much as possible that they develop key competencies and achieve defined objectives


  • Represent Amadeus at fairs and customer events.




  • Manage budget, resources and financial planning for area of responsibility



  • Monitor de budget under your responsibly

  • Develop unit plans regarding business priorities

  • Define and monitor performace indicators on sales activites.


  • Team Management

  • Fix and follow-up sales targets for individuals in line with organizational
    goals

  • Assist, guide and motivate team members in their assigned functions. Ensure the development based on continuous assessment on needs.


  • Secure delivery of contracted services

  • Drive the relationship with top level internal stakeholders to guarantee that
    right level of service is provided to customers.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor 's degree in business administration, computer science or in a
    related field.

  • At least ‎10 years of sales management / customer relationship management experience.

  • Understanding of complex IT solutions and services for local travel industry.

  • Excellent technical knowledge of Amadeus system and products.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and ability to influence at all levels.

  • Proficiency in English is essential, written and spoken.
