Content Coordinator

Job Description

• Responsible for creating, editing, and researching to create content and increase engagement.


• Participate in the development of content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing and communication targets and ensure its alignment with corporate strategy and identity, as well as customer needs


• Assist in performing content audits to assess how well existing content is performing and content gaps in collaboration with Content Strategist.


• Follow-up on the editorial calendar


• Coordinate & Execute style guides that specify the writing style and tone needed to create engaging content for each medium and market in conformance with brand identity


• Develop a solid understanding of the target audiences through online and traditional market research, as well as work on project surveys


• Collaborate with the other Marcoms teams on generation of content for collaterals, digital media, and events


• Create and publish engaging content through research and generation of content based on needs of teams, Company and trends related to our industries and scope of Giza Systems Group.


• Develop content for newsletters, collaterals, presentations and reports


• Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics


• update published content as needed Employ of analytics to increase user engagement tools, follows on social media and recommendation of content strategies based on metrics


• Assist in content distribution and promotion offline and online to increase traffic and engagement


• Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection).


• Participate in other projects and perform other tasks as assigned


• Collaborate with other teams on projects to raise Giza Systems Group profile


• Ensure latest content is available to all teams on the different communication channels of the company

Technical Skills

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or in a related field


• Minimum 1year of experience in a similar position.


• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in both Arabic and English


• Outstanding writing and research skills


• Experience with MS Office.


• Good knowledge of digital marketing and metrics


• Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics is also a plus


• Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
