POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Assistant will support the disability team in their work to establish 15
disability service centers at 15 public universities across Egypt. This entry-
level position is a great opportunity to work on a program with a positive
impact, to learn about the social model of disability inclusion, to gain
experience in development work and exposure to project management, and to
develop workplace skills with a friendly and passionate team. The Assistant
will perform administrative and logistical support to the disability team with
some programmatic work. Activities may include data entry, drafting and
processing documents, arranging trainings and workshops, connecting with
vendors to support in procurement of necessary tools/catering for the
trainings, verifying delivery of procured items, making phone calls,
coordinating appointments and meetings, and timely and accurate filing of key
project documentation. The Assistant will attend and support program trainings
workshop, and events. The Assistant will report to the Senior Administrative
Specialist, and will work closely with the whole disability program team. The
job requires some travel to other governorates
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Draft program documents including formal university letters, success stories, and report components
* Maintain program files and documentation in an organized manner
* Make travel arrangements for disability officers and disability center staff for program activities
* Support in making training/event arrangements, attending training/events as needed
* Coordinate logistics for university visits and trainings, required documents, coffee breaks, etc.
* Contact vendors to support in procurement of necessary tools/catering for program activities trainings
* Follow up with trainers to collect required documentation
* Visit universities and training locations with program officers to support program implementation. Regular travel will be required
* Take meeting notes, distribute to the team, and file them
* Perform other tasks as requested
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
REQUIRED
• Bachelor's Degree in any relevant discipline such as education or business
* Proficient in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
* Excellent English and Arabic proficiency
* Team Player
* Organization and problem-solving skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Passion for development work
* Egyptian citizenship
PREFERRED
* Passion for disability inclusion
* 2 years of work experience
* Demonstrated experience with program administration or project management
* Strong writing skills

* TOEIC score of 600 or equivalent
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The incumbent in this position will work in a professional office environment
and will utilize the following equipment when working from the corporate
office or remote home office (temporarily due to COVID-19).

program provides underserved students from across Egypt with high quality
undergraduate education in Egypt, and the skills and knowledge to participate
actively and responsibly in their communities and contribute to the economic
