The Position
Communications Manager in Cairo directly reports to the General
Manager/Head of Human Pharma.
Communications Manager will create a communications and marketing
communication strategy for the country based on the regional strategy and
priorities.
The successful candidate will plan, manage and execute all corporate
communications campaigns, marketing campaigns and activities across the
country covering brand and c orporate communications for Human
Pharma and Animal Health businesses.
This role contributes to strategize, plan and execute all communications and
marcom activities for North Africa. It also supports and advises the North
Africa teams on governance and coordination, as well as on regional/global
campaigns and communication programs.
The Communications Manager will partner with the General Manager and business
units to support the business plan, help address challenges and capitalize on
opportunities through communications activities including media relations,
internal and external communications and crisis communications. The position
holder will localize announcements and regional marketing campaigns in their
local markets across the country as relevant and according to each local
market specifics and cultures.
Tasks & Responsibilities
* External Communications and Media relations
* Marketing Campaigns to support Therapeutic Area Teams objectives and activities
* Channel management and engagement (websites, social media, internal channels)
* Employee Communications
Requirements
* Master's / bachelor's degree in preferably Business Administrations and/or Journalism and Mass Communications.
* Experience in working in-house as a communications professional or in a communications agency in the relevant region.
* Experience in pharma communications and marketing is preferred.
* English, French and Arabic with fluency is an absolute requirement including excellent editorial and copywriting skills.
