Job Description

Responsibilities:
* Preparation of cost plans/ estimates, as well as budget reconciliation, cost checking, and cost control during different design stages.
* Review and approve contractors/consultants invoices and ensure that the accurate process takes place within time.
* Attend progress meeting in site and arise critical issues to cost control manager if occurs.
* Directly interface with Project Manager, consultant, & contractor for handling construction cost.
* Variation order management including assessment, valuation and agreeing on amounts with the Contractors.
* Analyze different changes impact on the project budget.
* Measuring the project cost performance by the use of earned value management and provide accurate forecasts.
* Recommend alternatives for budget control to Cost Control manager for discussion and/or decision.
* Prepare cost progress reports and performance reports with full commitment to submit it on time.
* Prepare effective cost forecast analysis and recommendations, including the use of all associated information and tools.

Skills

Job Requirements:
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in

Civil or Construction Management. Relevant post-graduate study is preferred.
Work Experience:
* ‎7-‎8 years of relevant experience in cost management of the construction projects,
Skills & Competencies:
* Excellent communication and analytical skills, initiative and team-spirited.
* Adequate knowledge in applying cost management principals, techniques and tools.
* Hands-on experience with using MS Excel, AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, and Primavera P6.
