Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza is looking for a Director of Rooms.
The Director of Rooms will report to the Hotel Manager and forms part of the
Hotel Leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational
decisions for the Hotel. The Director directs and controls the activities of
the Front Desk, Communications, Concierge, Housekeeping, Guest Relations,
Guest Services and in some cases Reservations, Spa and Security. Assures that
standards are met, guests and employees are satisfied and problems are
promptly resolved. The Director also works closely with Sales and the Director
of Revenue/Reservations to enhance the Hotel occupancy levels and rates.
We are looking for individuals with exceptional leadership skills and who can
inspire the very best customer care and service execution. The ability to
problem solve and manage guest-related service issues is critical for success
in this role.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
* Well established Director of Rooms.
* Bachelor's degree
* High degree of analytical abilities
* A flair for creativity and entrepreneurship
* Proven record of building strong relationships with all stake holders
* Outstanding communication and presentation skills
* Some travel is required for training, conferences and special events.
* Thorough understanding of Rooms Division trends, techniques and yield strategies
* Excellent customer service skills with great enthusiasm, superior interpersonal skills, result oriented and highly self-motivated
* Professional, service oriented, eager to help coworkers, adaptable with changes
* High attention to detail, strong organization skills, result orientation and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
* A positive attitude and a can-do approach to any task
