This role will provide digital technologies leadership to Mars Wrigley Middle
East & Africa (MEA) by identifying and promoting key opportunities, developing
and agreeing a supporting portfolio of initiatives and jointly leading, with
the global digital technologies segment and central organizations, the
delivery of business change initiatives. The role is accountable for all IT
services towards the market leadership teams within Mars Wrigley MEA, working
closely with both business leaders and IT teams in Global Digital Operations.
As we are entering into the next phase of the Mars Wrigley Reinvention, it
will be increasingly important for Mars Wrigley MEA to lead the Digital agenda
holistically, across all aspects of Digital Technologies, inclusive of digital
innovation as well as enterprise IT. This role will report to the Global Mars
Wrigley Sr Director TLT & GEM and will be a member of the Mars Wrigley MEA
extended Leadership Team.

What are we looking for?

• ‎10+ years working in an IT related role


• Strong project and program management and/or IT service experience.


• Must be customer focused with demonstrated ability to form productive relationship with a wide constituency, including segment leaders, IT personnel and project leaders


• Broad understanding of a company 's business and technology strategies and established business process areas and the ways in which technology may impact and enhance business processes


• Able to evaluate technology and process alternatives


• Excellent written and verbal skills as well as high interpersonal skills


• Strong consultative skills, problem analysis, negotiating and influencing skills.


• Should have a proven track record of delivering results in two or more of the following three areas:
  (Remote) Line management, Project delivery, Program Management, Senior
  Management exposure

What will be your key responsibilities?

• As Digital Sr Lead/ market CIO, the role will be responsible for driving the digital transformation agenda at Mars Wrigley MEA, while continuing to deliver an operational excellence agenda to protect business continuity in an increasing VUCA world.
  As such, the role will require best-in-class strategic agility in order to
  quickly identify and prioritize areas of value contribution across the entire
  Mars Wrigley MEA cluster and turn this ambition into a compelling vision for
  senior leaders to buy into and for associates to be inspired delivering
  against it. Most importantly, this objective will have to be achieved at speed
  and at scale as consumers are shifting behaviours & preferences, as customers
  are transforming and as associates are becoming more technology savvy, which
  will require strong focus and mindset to foster agile Innovation.


• Visible leadership for the digital technologies function, being the key contact for management teams and divisional managers demonstrating full understanding of the problems and opportunities for business change through digital.


• Responsible to develop, maintain and drive the digital strategies in the assigned markets / sites and agreeing relevant digital technologies governance structures, tightly linked with the latest digital strategic framework.


• Works closely with the relevant functional stakeholders to identify requirements for new/existing solutions and facilitate the interactions with relevant regional/global digital teams.


• Ensures visibility and program management of all market technologies and digital initiatives, participating in relevant steering group meetings.


• Works with the other business functions to ensure that necessary digital technologies competencies of market / site resources are maintained and there is a sustainable functional expert/key user organization in place.


• In partnership with global digital technologies, program teams and external partners successfully delivers Business Solutions & Services, according to the IT Strategic Framework agreed in IT Steering Groups


• Financial accountability of the overall IT/ digital costs for all covered markets ensuring visibility.


• Facilitates the IT Financial Planning process for all covered markets and ensures the agreed targets are met and ongoing opportunities are taken to reduce costs.
