POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Amideast Egypt seeks a Soft Skills Trainer for a program that focuses on the
recruitment and capacity development of the differently abled in Egypt. The
Soft Skills Trainers will deliver interactive and engaging content for the
differently abled. S/he will follow Amideast training methodology bring a
learner-centered, interactive approach which focuses on accessibility,
enhanced role play & simulation, and collaborative learning, to adapt to
professional needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The objective of this position is to provide some of the necessary soft skills
that the participants will require in a professional environment, train
trainees on soft skills in order to improve their working & personal
relations (including teamwork, client orientation), reduce stress levels and,
essentially, improve the office work environment.
Tasks and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to,
the following:
* Train participants on a set of soft skills to implement in their professional and personal lives through delivering PST workshops
* Work with participants to improve their knowledge to apply the information delivered in completing tasks, activities, and assignments.
* Meet participants expectations by identifying trainee expectations and linking to workshop objectives
* Follow Amideast instructional plan and ensuring that the materials used meet Amideast standards
* Adapt material if needed in collaboration with Amideast to meet audience profile and expectations
* Keep the attendance records of participants updated through using the requested forms
* Assess the trainers progress through completing the Amideast Trainer Evaluation Form
* Incorporate additional supplemental material such as videos, game-based activities, audio scripts, articles, case studies etc.
* Ensure that participant names are correctly spelled for issuing certificates
* Provide group and individual feedback to students.
* Training topics include:
* Communication skills
* Presentation skills
* Critical Thinking
* Problem solving and decision making
* Working in teams and accepting the others
* Self-motivation
* Stress Management
* Time Management
By the end of this module, participants will be able to:
* Communicate effectively and clearly with external partners as well as internal colleagues
* Critically analyze situations and provide various solutions
* Realize different methods for self-motivation
* Manage time and tasks efficiently
