We are looking for a candidate who can keep track of all purchase acquisitions
and purchase orders on a regular basis. Assist Purchasing Manager in
implementing system and strategies to keep the purchasing department running
efficiently.
DUTY & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs

  • Research potential vendors

  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers

  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery

  • Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases

  • Conduct market research to identify pricing trends

  • Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices

  • Prepare cost analyses

  • Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts

  • Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders

  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition


  • Assist Purchasing Manager to come up with system and procedure to ensure efficient and effective management of purchasing department

    QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Proven work experience as a Purchasing Executive or similar role

  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)

  • Understanding of supply chain procedures

  • Negotiation skills

  • Any Bachelor's degree.
