Senior Service Engineer

Job Summary

To provide quality, professional, and profitable after-sales support & service
to the Emerson Customer base in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain with specific focus
on Tank gauging and Measurement Systems. Having Knowledge of Analytical & Skid
systems is a plus and the candidate will also Pro-actively work with customers
to grow after-sales services revenue
Job Description

Reporting to the Service Manager Western Region -, you will be an experienced
Service Engineer, with strong technical and customer service skills, and the
desire to exceed customer expectations at every opportunity. You will also be
comfortable with extensive travel.
Job Responsibilities

* Carry out supervision of installation and commissioning, fault analysis / investigation and repairs on Emerson Measurement & Analytical products
* Use diagnostic tools and software to assist with installation / commissioning / on-line fault rectification
* Demonstrate, calibrate, and retrofit the Emerson range of Measurement & Analytical field devices
* Compile service Reports / Time Sheets and Obtaining customer sign off for work undertaken
* Liaison with Divisional Engineering / Manufacturing centers in Europe / USA / Asia
* Support Service Job Planning for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain Service and Training jobs
* Support sales activities with required support, like surveys, and customer meetings.
* Coordinate with Local Business Partner and clients multiple jobs.
* Coordinate warranty, maintenance & repair activities for Return Material Authorization.
* Support to Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
* Responsible for the performance and development of the Sales Provide field operations support to customers in accordance to with the terms of the customer contract and AMC.
* Carry out troubleshooting, repairs and servicing of workshop equipment's, enable hardware and software at Customers premises to the highest standards.
* Update of CRM on daily basis by driving Quote to Order follow up process
* Visit to customers, consultants, end users and transmitting our technology expertise to them.
* Support achieving the assigned target in terms of budget revenue and unit sales for that particular region.
* Provide customers with timely price quotations, sustainable products and latest technologies best designed to meet the customers' needs.

Basic Qualifications

* Qualified to a minimum of degree level in an Engineering discipline
* A minimum of ‎7 years experience as a Service or Instrument Engineer in a process
control environment with a particular emphasis on commissioning and start-up
of Tank Gauging systems , on-line analyzers, experience in the repair and
servicing of Emerson Measurement & Analytical products/systems and /or
competitor products & systems
* An understanding of C&I theory, operation & maintenance of on-line liquid, gas analyzers and gas chromatographs
* Have a sound knowledge of Emerson analytical products (application, service & operation)
* Ability to conduct customer training on theory, operation and maintenance on Tank Gauging and Measurement system
* Ability to communicate effectively. Must be proficient in the English language & Arabic.
Preferred Qualifications

* Information technology knowledge would be an advantage such as handling setup of operating system, back and restore systems using backup/restore software tools .
