Reporting to the Senior Customer Financial Services Manager, you will assist
the Western Region Credit Controller in account collections within Saudi
Arabia, ensuring the most effective and efficient support to meet both Sales
and Departmental objectives.
You will be involved in the Accounts Receivable activity, maximizing cash flow
through the timely and effective collection of trade debts, playing a key role
in process improvement, dispute management and overdue debt reduction
initiatives, be involved in the day-to-day administration of the Saudi Aramco
portal and other portal-based customers.
Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the
following:
* Collection of amounts due to Emerson on assigned accounts receivable ledgers per the defined MEA Autosol collections strategies.
* Highlight any delayed payments or potential bad debts to the Emerson Senior Customer Financial Services (CFS) Manager promptly.
* Make recommendations to, or assist CFS Management in implementing new policies/procedures for operational improvement and in support of company objectives
* Receive customer dispute information, validate, and provide full details to the business unit for resolution using the designated process.
* Exercise considerable independent judgment and discretion in handling process and administrative duties, including making decisions that will have a significant impact on internal/external customers.
* Provide a high level of customer financial statement analysis.
* Manage Trade Finance activities through extensive investigation of exposure in compliance with Uniform Customs and Practice (UCP) 600 for Documentary Credits governed by the International Chamber of Commerce
* High level of cross-functional engagement to drive timely resolution of disputes
* Responsible for adherence and support of company policies and procedures.
* Perform tasks associated with the completion of special projects.
* Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the line manager
What do I need to be considered for this role?
* Degree in Business or related field
* English - Fluency in speaking, reading and writing
* Arabic - Fluency in speaking, reading and writing
* One year's experience in Oil & Gas
