Job Description
We are looking for a candidate with experience in Insurance and related
products to join our underwriting team at Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for:
* Review insurance proposals and seek to improve terms.
* All types of insurance processing in an efficient and timely manner to achieve prompt resolution and settlement by working closely with insurers.
* Review insurance applications for compliance and adherence.
* Draw up quotes for competitive insurance premiums.
* Use professional techniques and strategize to calculate the risk associated with client policies.
* Negotiate and define the specific terms of insurance policies with insurers or policyholders.
* Layout and finalize insurance policies ing specific terms and conditions as agreed upon by the client.
* Keep detailed records of policies underwritten.
* Build professional relationships with client, insurers, reinsurers, and colleagues.
* Excellent Customer service.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Proven insurance underwriting experience.
* Sound technical knowledge of insurance products and other aspects of insurance processing.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Sensible judgement and attention to detail.
* Experience in handling Mircrosoft Office Tools and Analytical tools
* Insurance qualifications such as CII/ ACII is an added advantage.
