JOB OVERVIEW
This role would suit a numerate individual who enjoys working at the forefront
of the business. The right candidate will have a proven track record in
pricing Employee Benefits and an entrepreneurial spirit.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
* To determine the premium for large corporate and SME health insurance schemes, following Allianz Care underwriting guidelines and pricing methodology. This will involve analysis of past claims experience, calculation of pricing impact of changing benefits and varying risk factors to forecast future claims levels.
* To prepare and issue claim utilisation reports, including commentary and explanation of observed trends and scheme performance.
* Be a point of contact for our sales and CRM team in relation to pricing and underwriting queries, both mid-year and throughout negotiations for contract renewals and tenders.
* The right candidate in time will be expected to form their own opinions on requests and make decisions following the agreed risk appetite.
* Taking ownership of queries received within the team and delivering a quality service and response time to our colleagues.
* To prepare and issue weekly work activity reports to the Underwriting manager

REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this position you will need to have the following skills/
experience:
* Qualification in mathematics or other numerate area preferred.
* Proven ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with others
* Strong Excel skills essential, competence in Word and Powerpoint
* Experience in analytical role - pricing & underwriting of employee benefits desirable
* Working in a fast paced and goal driven environment.
* Strong problem solving, analytical skills and decision making ability
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Strong sense of ownership in carrying out duties.
